The P9 Arctic Military Telescope was created by Johns Hopkins University. The purpose of this study was to achieve maximum magnification at the smallest effective aperture while ensuring the luminous flux and angular resolution of the telescope.
This telescope is the first attempt to use nano-etching technology, nano-array technology, mesopore assembly technology, thin film mosaic technology, and nano-optical materials to make the flatness error of the lens reach 10nm.
The luminous flux reaches 30 times that of a normal telescope of the same diameter. The angle of resolution is 47 times that of a normal telescope of the same diameter. The maximum magnification reaches 300 times. This is the first monocular to achieve this magnification and clarity on a small scale.
If there are no obstacles in the field, you can easily observe people or objects in the distance.
The telescopic anti-shake system and the special tripod 3D gyroscope make the field of view of the telescope very stable when reaching magnification of hundreds of times. It performs far better than most astronomical telescopes costing thousands of dollars.
The shell is made of titanium alloy with a higher specific strength and weighs only 1.1 pounds. When retracted, it's only 7.87 inches long, and you can slip it into a backpack or pocket when hunting, traveling, or camping.
